The MyQ wifi garage connectivity can he finicky with certain routers. I had to set mine up in the living room. And then move it to the garage. I am talking close. Like it had to be within 5 feet of the router on initial connection. I also found that my router needed to be freshly restarted and I had to connect the MyQ quickly just after restart.
